This handmade Binga basket is a traditional grain winnowing basket from the Batonga people of Zimbabwe. It is shallow and round with a square bottom, with a coffee, espresso and natural pattern. This type of basket is used for winnowing grain in Zimbabwe, so it has a sturdy rim, is lightweight, and has small gaps in the bottom square area. It is approximately 12" in diameter by 2" deep, and displays well on a wall or in a plate stand.
