This small, cup-shaped Zulu telephone wire basket is a fair trade product from South Africa. It is handwoven from plastic coated electrical and telephone wires in a black, orange and red spiral pattern. This beautiful and functional basket is approximately 4 3/4" deep, 4" in diameter at the top, tapering down to 2 1/4" in diameter at the bottom. This basket makes a sturdy pencil or utensil holder, and fits nicely in the cup holder of most cars. It can be handwashed with mild soap.
