This beautiful South African basket is made from telephone wires. It is approximately 3 1/4" deep by 8" in diameter at the top of the bowl, and 4" at the bottom; a nice size and shape for holding fruit or rolls. If you order it you will receive the exact one seen in the picture (there is only one). It is rainbow colored with black and copper accents. It is a fair trade product handmade by the Zulu people of South Africa. Because it is crafted from plastic coated electrical and telephone wires, it is sturdy enough to stand up to daily use, and can safely be hand washed if needed.
