This small Zulu wire basket combines traditional skills with modern materials. It is hand-woven from plastic coated electrical and telephone wires, a time consuming process that requires both skill and strength. It is approximately 2" deep by 4 1/2" in diameter at the top, tapering to 2 1/2" at the bottom. Wires in shades of cream and coffee accented with copper are woven into a swirl pattern. This tiny basket is a fair trade product from South Africa. It is the perfect size for holding paper clips or coins, and can be hand washed as needed. If you order this basket you will receive the exact one shown in the image, and because each basket is unique, only one is available.
