This fair trade Marseille Dress is made in India using traditional blockprinting and genuine indigo dye. It sits above the knee, has short sleeves, a scoop neck, and zips in the back. It is indigo blue with dots of lighter blue and white in vertical bands. This dress is made in a sweatshop-free environment from 100% cotton and is available in women's size extra-small (4), small (6), medium (8), large (10), and extra-large (12). This fabric was made using the traditional indigo process and some color transfer can occur. We recommend you wash before wearing. Refer to care label for washing instructions. Hand wash or machine wash on gentle cycle in cold water with like colors and air dry. Do not dry in direct sunlight.
About the brand: Mata Traders, based in Chicago, works with women in cooperatives in India and Nepal to produce high quality, often vintage-inspired, fair trade clothing.
