Our beautiful felted soap is handmade in small batches in Kitsap County WA, USA. The underlying soap is handcrafted by the cold process method and cut by hand, and sheep wool is then felted around it in a time-consuming and painstaking process. This collection contains no synthetic colors or fragrances. The soaps are all scented with natural essential oils derived from various plants.
The price shown is for a single soap. However, if you purchase three or more of our felted soaps you will receive $1 off each one. You can mix and match fragrances all you want.
To use, remove the ribbon and tag but leave the wool wrapped around the soap. Run the bar under water until the soap lathers up through the wool, then use it to clean and exfoliate your skin. Wool is naturally anti-microbial, which helps your soap stay fresh and fragrant. The wool will shrink as the soap diminishes, and when the soap is gone you can rinse the remaining soap residue from the shrunken wool (it's fine to run it through a washing machine), and use it as a scrubbie or a dryer ball. Wool dryer balls are an effective, natural alternative to conventional fabric softeners and dryer sheets. Throw one or two in your dryer with wet clothes, and they will separate the clothes as they circulate in the dryer, softening the fabric, preventing static cling, and reducing drying time by absorbing moisture. Afterward, you can leave the dryer balls in your dryer, ready for the next load.
Each felted wool soap varies in color and pattern and may not match what you see in the image. You may request a color in the comments section when you check out and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Each bar is approximately 4.5 ounces and 4" x 2 3/4", although shape and size will vary a bit.
