Rectangle Baskets

Our fair trade rectangle and square baskets are variations of traditional Bolga baskets. These beautiful and practical baskets are hand-woven in the Bolgatanga region in northern Ghana using traditional methods and indigenous grass, leather, and dye. They are rectangle or square with two goat skin handles. They make fine market baskets when you just want to pick up a few items, and are ideal for storing books, magazines, or files. Their flat bottoms ensure that they stay upright when placed on the floor.
