This substantial handmade Bolga fan is made from kinkanhe straw and goat skin, and dyed with natural dyes. It is a fair trade product from the Bolgantanga region of northern Ghana in West Africa. This beautiful African straw fan is perfect for cooling off on a hot day, and also can be used purely as an art piece. The brown leather-wrapped handle has a convenient loop on the end to hang the fan with. As with all of our hand woven Bolga products, colors and designs vary. You may select a specific fan from the images shown, or let us choose for you and save 10%. The fans range from 15" to 18" long and from 9" to 13" wide. Each one comes with a hang tag with information about fair trade Bolga products as well as a care card.
The price shown is for a single fan. Only one fan is available for each image shown. Any color on the straw that appears to be black is actually a very dark blue.
