Returns are refunded within two business days of our receiving the product in satisfactory condition. Scroll down for detailed information on returns and exchanges, or contact us with any questions or concerns. We're available 10am-5pm PST seven days a week via email, and by phone at 360-297-3030. We aim to make the process easy for you.
Please note: when carriers refer to business days, they exclude weekends and major holidays. Please take this into account when calculating arrival times for your orders. If an order is shipped the Friday before Memorial Day weekend, for example, the next business day would be the following Tuesday. Contact us with any questions about arrival times and we'll be happy to help.
We offer free standard shipping for orders over $50.00, excluding sales tax, to all fifty U.S. states and Washington D.C. Simply select the "Free Shipping" option when you check out. Depending on your location, your order should arrive in two to eight business days. Shipments may take up to six weeks to reach Hawaii. You may still choose other shipping options at your own expense.
We provide a tracking number with your shipping confirmation. Tracking capability is limited for international shipments. It may take up to 24 hours for tracking information to appear in the USPS or UPS system.
U.S. Shipping Options
- USPS Parcel/Standard Post. Economical service. Usually 2-8 business days. Can take up to 6 weeks to reach Hawaii.
- UPS Ground. Economical service. Usually 2-8 business days. UPS cannot deliver to a Post Office box.
- USPS Priority Mail. Usually 2-3 business days. Not available for some large parcels.
- USPS Express Mail. Next business day to most locations, guaranteed delivery.
We offer shipping to most countries. You can place the order directly through our website, or email us your order and we can send you a PayPal invoice. If you wish to place a large international order, please contact us for a shipping quote. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on most international orders, but if you are not satisfied for any reason, please contact us and we will endeavor to make it right. If you attempt to place an international order and get a message indicating we can't ship to your destination, contact us. There is a good chance we will be able to ship your order.
Additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Alaska, Hawaii, and APO Addresses
We ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and APO addresses. All three are eligible for free shipping on orders over $50. Please note it can take up to 6 weeks for USPS Standard/Parcel Post to reach Hawaii. For speedier service, choose USPS Priority Mail or any of the UPS services.
Shipping African Baskets
We may on rare instances ship African market baskets to you flattened. We only do this for very large orders of multiple baskets that are of similar size and therefore can't be nested. By flattening them we're able to reduce the number of shipping boxes needed. We will contact you prior to shipping when this happens.
Flattened market baskets can be reshaped by wetting them in cool water. We either dunk them in a sink full of water or spray them with a hose. Let the wet basket set for a few minutes to allow the water to penetrate the fibers, and then form them into the correct shape, and allow to air dry. The wetting and reshaping process should take just a few minutes per basket, and they'll dry in about two hours at room temperature. Wetting the basket doesn't damage it; in fact, it makes the weave tighter and stronger.
We usually ship within one business day of receiving your order. If shipping is delayed for any reason (such as severe weather), we will promptly inform you of the circumstances and expected new shipping date.
You may return items within 30 days of receipt for a full merchandise refund. We'll also refund both the outbound and the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) If you return an item using an expedited shipping service we'll only refund shipping at the comparable ground rate. If the return is not the result of our error, you will be refunded only the merchandise cost and any sales tax on the product, but shipping charges and any sales tax on shipping are non-refundable.
The merchandise must be unused and in its original condition, and must retain all original tags and incidentals, i.e. spare buttons.
If you are returning items that qualified for free shipping and the return is not the result of our error, the merchandise cost and any sales tax minus the actual shipping cost will be refunded.
For online or telephone orders, we will refund your credit card within two business days of receiving the returned item(s). We can only issue refunds to the same credit card that was used to make the purchase. PayPal purchases will be refunded via PayPal. Items purchased and returned at our storefront will be refunded on the spot via credit card, cash, or company check if approved.
To return an item ordered online, log in to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the "Return Item(s)" button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. You may also return items at our brick and mortar locations, or simply ship the item(s) back to us with a note explaining the reason for the return.
We cannot accept returns on most international sales.

To exchange an item as the result of our error, i.e. we shipped the wrong item, ship the item back to us via ground shipping within 30 days of receiving it, in its original condition, and we'll send the correct item as well as refund your return postage within 2 business days of receiving the merchandise.
To exchange an item that isn't the result of our error, ship the item back to us within 30 days of receiving it, in its original condition, and place an order for the new item. We will refund your credit card for the amount of the product cost on the original purchase and any sales tax on the product, but shipping charges and any sales tax on shipping are non-refundable. The cost of the replacement product will be charged separately.

Shipping and handling charges are calculated when you place your order. Contact us if you need special shipping arrangements and we will provide you with a quote.
Please also note that shipping rates for most items we sell are weight and zone-based; and include the item itself, the shipping container, and packaging materials.
